Harmony for Kids was founded in 2018 by Fiona and Andrew Dezelak, the directors behind Quinn Health and Development, out of a recognition that too many Children weren’t receiving the help that they needed.
In their work as healthcare professionals, Fiona and Andrew were witnessing a growing problem; a child who needed support, but who didn’t yet meet the eligibility threshold for the NDIS, or whose families simply couldn’t afford the assessments required to access it. These were real kids, in real need.
Harmony for kids was created as a direct response to this issue. From the beginning the mission was simple: no child should miss out on the therapy and support they need because of funding barriers or system limitations.
Working alongside Quinn Health and Development, Harmony for Kids has provided a pathway for families navigating the space between needing help and being able to access it. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to inclusive therapy for all children, regardless of diagnosis, funding status, or circumstance.
Our approach is holistic and person-centred, because every child is unique. We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We believe in getting to know each child, understanding what matters to their family, and building support that fits real life.
We know that geography should never be a barrier to quality support. That’s why Harmony 4 Kids proudly embraces the latest technology to reach children and families in regional and remote areas, delivering training, education, and therapy through telehealth and other online services to communities that have previously lacked the support that they needed.
Our clinicians bring extensive experience across both face-to-face and telehealth service delivery, and we’ve seen firsthand how powerful the right technology can be in the hands of a skilled, caring clinician. Whether a family is in a major centre or hours from the nearest town, we are committed to showing up for them.
We are proud to be building something truly special — our very own Allied Health Hub, developed in partnership with Quinn Health and Development.
This hub represents our long-term vision: a place where children and families can access the support they need across every stage of life, from early childhood through to adulthood. A space where allied health professionals work together, where knowledge is shared, and where families don’t have to navigate the system alone.
What started as a solution to a gap in the system has grown into a service that has touched the lives of countless children and families across our community. We remain proudly connected to Quinn Health and Development and just as committed to our founding purpose as we were in 2018.
